O sacred Banquet, in which Christ becomes our food,
the memory of His passion is recalled, our souls filled with grace,
and our pledge of future glory is given.
We pray this after Morning Office each day in the presence of our Lord exposed in the Most Blessed Sacrament. Today is a First Thursday; a day to thank the Lord especially for the great gift of His Eucharistic Sacrifice, Presence, Communion.
